Nice view from the terrace of the lake, home-style cuisine, ample portions, decent price, nice service, problems with the french fries supplier! (Expected fries) That shouldn't really happen with a frozen product in a restaurant.

The main course was excellent, the star on the plate was the sauce, this was an absolute dream. The fish was fried crispy and still juicy, and the chanterelles were fried to a good point and not over. On the other hand, the dessert was a bit disappointing, the ice cream was good, but I am of the opinion that the lava cake is frozen and unfortunately € 9 is not justified for this. The next day we went to eat there again, this time there was a tarte flambée with chanterelles, which was very good again. The kitchen is very good, but the dessert was disappointing, which is why there weren't any more on the second day.

The worst flammkuchen I've ever had. They use the same dough as for the pizza. Apart from the pizza, the other dishes are a bit expensive. Good location and good views from the terrace.

Reservations are requested between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. After 8 p.m. spontaneous passing by is no problem. We arrived shortly before 8 p.m. and were warmly welcomed (with a dog). The menu is small but nice. All dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Real Wiener schnitzel, salad with strips of turkey or tarte flambée with and without peppers - everything tasted excellent. As a family with children, we felt very welcome: you didn't have to ask for a high chair or toys. In our experience the best restaurant in Schluchsee.

Impeccable, friendly service. The food is well worth the price. Upscale, home-style cuisine. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The ambience is a bit cool and sober. Highly Recommended. We would love to come back.

Large portions, well-mixed selection of dishes, reasonable value for money and extremely courteous service! The location is ideal, overlooking the lake. The ice cream parlor located below the restaurant is also highly recommended! Would definitely come again.

The restaurant offers great food. The waitresses were always in a good mood. We went to eat there three days in a row. Veal cutlet with fried potatoes and a side salad cost about 23 €. On average we three men had a bill of € 120 together. We would eat there again anytime

Very nice service, ate an onion roast, was perfectly medium fried for 22.80 euros. Toilets clean. If I had anything to complain about, it's the rusty garden chairs.

Super courteous service staff, delicious food and cold drinks. Despite the fact that the restaurant was fully booked, we still got a seat. We would go again.

Food took an hour to arrive and prices are high, for a piece of fish or meat 25 euro.

Very nice food and terrace with a view, friendly service, but way too long. We waited for our food for more than an hour and we were with our 1 yo son, this was a stressful dinner for sure as kids don't know what's waiting

We spent a lovely evening with excellent food and friendly service. The food was very well presented and the taste was very good. You should definitely leave space for the dessert. The ice cream and creme brulee were awesome. The restaurant is definitely worth a recommendation.

The food was very good and the service was very friendly ... the steak with the pepper cream sauce is great! ... even if the dessert was no longer available at the end, I like to give 5 stars because everything else in the great atmosphere a successful evening. We can only recommend this restaurant. However, you should reserve!

Visit : Driving tour through black forest Initially stopped at Titisee but that location is good for views however it was extremely bad for eating locations. We continued touring and found this spot which is in good decorative condition. There is an outside terrace overlooking the lake with 14-15 tables and with the weekends good weather made a fantastic spot to sit outside and eat including having a view of the car. Important point for those touring is that the hotel / restaurant has a few good parking spots right in front of the hotel - parking spaces are wide and flat with no kerb obstructions so perfect for exotic car owners Arrival and sitting outside was met with extremely friendly staff who were both welcoming and extremely helpful on the recommendations and we ended up going with a pork and then a veal schnitzel. Regional wheat beer and a baden area pinot noir which worked well. Service from start to finish was excellent and would highly recommend this as a spot whilst driving the area and we will be using in future as a meeting point for touring events Note : we arrived around midday and by 1pm every table outside was taken including the majority of the inside seats. Popular place in good weather

A good place to have an ice cream or coffee. Very close to the train station.
